Bible Personalities: Noah

People in Noah’s time defied God. Luke 17:26 clearly states, “And as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man.” Likewise for the evil ways just prior to Christ’s return.

Scripture condemns the wickedness of humanity. They did what was “right” in their own eyes. Society was arrogant and hedonistic, refusing to honor God or His laws. “The earth also was corrupt before God and the earth was filled with violence” (Genesis 6:11). Doesn't this sound tragically familiar?

The future of humankind hung by a thread. At the end of that thread hung faithful Noah. He did not just believe in the existence of God, he believed what God said and that God's way was right.

The world needs a bold warning against its evil ways. People need to turn to God in real repentance. You can set a right example. You can participate in a great work. You can be like Noah. Read more at:
