Bible Personalities: Sarah
Sarah shines through her example of living faith.
In the process of time God transformed Sarah. Although God changed her doubt to faith, Sarah must be given due credit. She allowed God to reshape her perspective.
Sarah protected her son Isaac and defended her home from family strife. She stayed faithful in her marriage through thick and thin. Sarah's virtues are uncontested as an example for women and men forever.
Sarah's life provides a remarkable story of one of the most faithful saints in history. In this story, Sarah excels as a faithful wife and mother. She could even be called the mother of all faithful women. The apostle Peter suggests such a description for her. He writes: “As Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him lord, whose daughters you are if you do well…” (1 Peter 3:6).
